Printing PDF
When printing PDF from a website or library research database, you need to remember that the print function of your Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari) will NOT work. PDF files employ the Adobe Reader®, which you have downloaded and installed as a plug-in accessory to your Internet browser. The Adobe Reader® has its own printer function.
Check out the example below. The image is from an EBSCO database. The pdf file has opened inside the window of the web browser. Look for the red circle that shows the location of the Adobe Reader® printer icon in the toolbar.
